Description:
The Renegade R5, a 50-foot performance cruising catamaran, was launched in July 2019 by Northstar Multihull. Sparcraft Masts designed and manufactured the mast, boom and entire rig system, incorporating the Facnor furling system. The main sheet has a 4-to1 in-boom purchase system, and the traveler has an electronically operated track. Carbotech manufactured the crossbeam and longeron and the sails are manufactured by Ullman Sails South Africa.
