The Balance 482 Catamaran Ke’Ala was launched by Balance Catamarans Cape Town in December 2021.
The Balance 482 Sailing Catamaran is built for both speed and cruising comfort. She is easy to handle so perfect for short-handed sailing. With her powerful 1,432 square foot sail-plan, she can sailing easily in 5 knot winds while the others catamarans will need to motor.
Wave piercing bows, foam core hulls, decks and furniture, carbon reinforced, she offers incomparable performance and stunning design. The 482 can be crafted with with either dagger-boards or high performance fixed keels.
With her owner version configuration, the Balance 482 easily accommodates up to six people for a long voyage. The innovative salon table converts into a queen-sized bed so you can always host another couple.
She has great flow and openness between the main salon and the cockpit, and her permanent up and down helm stations and versa helm give flexibility to the helmsman.
Her master shower aft is luxurious, and the 482 sports 6 foot 10 inches of headroom, boasts a large U-shaped galley, and she offers a lot of cabinetry and storage space.
The Balance 526 Sailing Catamaran is designed by Du Toit Yacht Design.Her sails are by Ullman Sails South Africa.
