Sheldon Steenkamp is the Production Manager at Sparcraft Masts, responsible for overseeing factory operations and ensuring efficient production across the business.
He began his career straight after school through an apprenticeship in the marine industry, gaining hands-on experience in mechanical systems, electronics, and boat repairs. Over eight years he built a strong technical foundation, which gradually led him into roles involving design support, problem-solving, and production coordination.
Sheldon later moved into management through a junior operational role, where he gained experience across multiple aspects of the business, including stock control, ordering, client liaison, and workforce coordination. Today he manages the day-to-day running of the factory, helping ensure that Sparcraft’s high standards of quality and reliability are maintained across every project.
